Productivity on a Saturday night?

I went out with the ever-lovely Joleen Saturday night, and while she was outside having a cigarette, I felt compelled to write. So I grabbed the nearest paper product, which happened to be the envelope containing the receipt of my PECO payment, and came up with this:

Kickin' it on a Saturday night
Everything's alright
Alright
The beer is fine
The talk is mine
And it's sailing like a
Paper glider
Man, I wish I had a cider
Put my hair up and
Think of another line
To make it fine fine
Fine
I wish I could go over and talk to you
But the words won't come out,
So I sit
And write this instead
The music of my
Past invades my
Present, while I wish that you were in my
Future, some way, some how
Isn't it amazing how a
Saturday night got me to
Start writing again
In a bar
While I sip on a beer
And keep my eyes peeled in your direction
Why don't you come over and say hello?

I don't know if I want to make any changes to it. It was really an exercise to get me playing with a little pen and paper again.

6/25 - I made one minor change for clarity's sake, but I think I'm keeping the rest of it the way it is.
